Today Marks One Year Anniversary of Historic Pluto Flyby!

Today marks the one year anniversary of New Horizon’s historic flyby of Pluto, completing humanity’s first reconnaissance of all the classical planets. Rather than a mere flyby, what if we were to actually land on the frigid, enigmatic world?

To celebrate the anniversary while openly pondering that very question, the following video was released by New Horizons‘ mission scientists. Although we won’t have to wait for that far-off trip, as New Horizons has already blazed the path to Pluto, we will still need our imaginations as we land!
